Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena

Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is a 2D fighting game by Arc System Works, developed under the supervision of Atlus's Team Persona. It is a direct sequel to Persona 4 and is directed by Katsura Hashino and is scored by Shoji Meguro.

  • Japan: Spring 2012 (Arcade ver.)
  • Japan: Summer 2012 (Console ver.)

Story

The game's story takes place two months after the ending of Persona 4 and revolves around Teddie, who starts advertising a fighting program called P-1 Grand Prix and announces that the members of the Investigation Team will take part in the tournament. However, they don't know anything about the show and try to find out the truth about the tournament.
Another part of the game will also explain how Aigis arrives in Inaba.

P4Uselect.jpgThe cast of the game is said to be composed of various characters from Persona 4 along with some additions from Persona 3. So far, the exact number of playable characters is unknown. The Character Select Interface, however, hints at a total of ten characters.

Teddie will serve as the tournament's host. Additionally, Rise has been spotted on a screenshot, but it is not yet known whether Teddie and Rise will be playable or not.
